Training for a half-marathon, WOW I'm impressed. But there's still tons of stuff you can do at the gym. I was always a gym rat, never got on the treadmill, ever. I figured if I was gonna walk I'd just as soon do it outside---or do the mall walker thing. So I just would lift weights and do some machines at the gym.
Then dadburn Stertaz and g0tribe got me started on this dadburn c-t-5k thingy, and it's been all downhill ever since LOL :)
But you can still bike maybe? either upright or recumbent? Set some goals for yourself and see how you do meeting them.
My goal was to run every Mon, Wed & Friday, I haven't missed a run yet. But some of my gym work is sliding. I'm nursing a sore shoulder so it severely limits my upper body workouts, in fact, their non-existent right now, so I just do some leg work and abs on Tues. and Thurs at the gym.
My incentive now is that we're going on a cruise in January and I've bought a string bikini... and I'm gonna wear it come hell or high water :)
Oh, that and plus my best friend who lives in Florida is meeting us on the cruise and she looks way better than me in a bikini... and I'm gonna have to sit next to her on the lounge chairs sipping our drinks with little umbrella's in them, and I want to be able to hold my own next to her skinny ass. :)
Gotta have incentive...
