are read by Adobe Reader. If you also can't run movies and get the same error code, you probably have Adobe Flash Player for the movies. Sounds like there's a missing or corrupted dll in Adobe. The product Taz recommends is free it used to be called Crap Cleaner, now they call it CCleaner. I use it myself, my old techie roommate told me about it a few years ago. Xoftspy used to be free too, and it does the same thing, but they charge for it now.
So, if CCleaner doesn't clear up the problem, your tech guys need to either update your Adobe files or find the missing/corrupted dll and replace it.
